515 Donors Come Forward to Support Thalassemia Children at Hyderabad Blood Donation Camp

Hyderabad: In a significant humanitarian initiative to support children living with thalassemia, the Paigham-e-Insaniyat Forum (East Zone, Hyderabad) organised a blood donation camp in the city, which drew an overwhelming community response. As many as 515 people donated blood, making a valuable contribution towards ensuring timely transfusions for children dependent on regular blood support.

The camp’s primary objective was to help ensure a regular, timely supply of blood for children with thalassemia, a serious genetic blood disorder that affects the body’s ability to produce adequate healthy haemoglobin and results in persistent anaemia.

Dr. Chandrakant Agarwal, President, TSCS, Dr. Suman Jain – CEO and Secretary – TSCS, Mr Aleem Baig, Joint Secretary – TSCS and Mrs. Ratnavali Kotapalli- Vice President -TSCS extended their gratitude for the blood donation camp. They participated in the blood donation campaign and appreciated the dedicated efforts of the Paigham-e-Insaniyat Forum team.
