ANTARA Creates a Space to Sing Together, Look Within and Reconnect With Yourself

New Delhi : A Bhajan Jamming and Storytelling experience, curated by Anshu Goyal, Founder of Kashi with Anshu, brought people together at The Grand Hotel, New Delhi, for an evening where bhajans became more than music; they became a way to participate, let go and reconnect with oneself. The evening saw participation from more than 750 people.

At the heart of ANTARA is a simple thought: when people move beyond being spectators and allow themselves to sing, participate and be present in the moment, the layers they carry from the outside world begin to fall away. What remains is an opportunity to look within, go deeper and reconnect with oneself.

Moving away from the conventional performer-audience format, ANTARA invited everyone to become part of the experience. The evening brought together a diverse gathering of people who sang familiar bhajans collectively while

Anshu’s storytelling added another layer to the experience, creating moments of energy, reflection and togetherness.

Speaking about the thought behind ANTARA, Anshu Goyal said, “We spend so much of our lives looking outside ourselves – for happiness, validation and answers. ANTARA is an invitation to come as you are, sing without inhibition and allow yourself to go a little deeper within. I believe that when you begin to connect with and love yourself, you naturally have more joy and love to share with the people around you.”

From Kashi with Anshu to ANTARA

ANTARA is an expression of the larger philosophy behind Kashi with Anshu – creating experiences that allow people to step away from the noise of everyday life and create space for themselves.

Anshu’s own connection with Kashi began as a deeply personal journey. Over time, it evolved into Kashi with Anshu, through which she curates intimate immersions that encourage people to experience Kashi beyond its physical and religious landmarks: to slow down, participate, reflect and discover what the city evokes within them.

ANTARA takes the same philosophy into a larger, collective format through music. If Kashi with Anshu creates the space to experience and look within, ANTARA uses the shared energy of bhajans, collective singing and storytelling to help people shed inhibitions, participate and reconnect with themselves.

Rather than positioning herself as someone with answers, Anshu sees herself as a catalyst in this journey inward creating spaces, conversations and experiences that encourage people to find their own connection. The endeavour is to continue evolving ANTARA as a participative experience that brings people together through music while creating moments to pause, reflect and reconnect.
