Around 28 colleges, and 38 events made Emblaze 2023 a grand success

On 2nd May, The Heritage College, Kolkata, organized an Inter-college Meet Emblaze 2023 which was participated by more than 28 colleges across the State. Around 38 events were there at Emblaze to ignite the young minds with fun, enthusiasm, creativity and excitement.

The inaugural ceremony of the event was addressed by well known Theatre artist and Film personality Mr. Sujoy Prosad Chatterjee as the Chief Guest. During his address, he guided the students to explore all the events at Emblaze that ignites talent and creativity among the students .

The event was also addressed by Dr. Basab Chaudhuri, Principal, Heritage Institute of Technology, Mr. P.K.Agarwal, CEO, Heritage Group of Institutions, Prof. K.K.Chaudhuri, Director, Heritage Business School, Prof. Amitava Ghosh, Teacher-in-charge, The Heritage College and Dr. Madhupa Bakshi, Dean, Department of Media Science, The Heritage Academy, Kolkata.

Emblaze offered a range of events including Sports, Science, Management, Literary, Photography, Debate, Art, PR & Branding and Culture and continued till 6th May. The events at Emblaze were judged by esteemed personalities such as Ms. Rajnandini Paul, a renowned television actor and Mrs. India Pride of the Nations & Mrs. Persona of India 2021, Ms. Labony Ray for the Fashion Show event, Mr. Rob Dey, a well known actor for the Drama event and Mr. Boidurjyo Chowdhary, lead guitarist at Cactus Band for the Music event.

Bethune College, Lady Brabourne College, Jadavpur University, Bhowanipur Education Society College, St. Xaviers University, Shri Shikhshayatan College, Goenka College of Commerce, Maulana Azad College, Rani Birla Girl’s College Jogamaya Devi College, THK Jain College, Sarojini Naidu College for Womens, Acharya Jagadish Chandra Bose College, Shri Shikshayatan College, Techno Main Saltlake, Government College of Art and Craft, Calcutta, iLEAD – Institute of Leadership, Entrepreneurship and Development, Sister Nivedita University (main campus), Gokhale Memorial Girl’s College, Shree Agrasain College, Calcutta Institute of Engineering and Management & Ashutosh College were among the colleges who participated for this mega event.

The Heritage College Kolkata was declared the overall champions for Emblaze and the runners-up position was bagged by Shri Shikshayatan College. Since The Heritage College is the host of the event, the winners trophy was handed over to Shri Shikshayatan College, Kolkata
