Classic Marble Company sets industry first with Rs.1,000+ crore revenue milestone

Classic Marble Company (CMC), a leading importer of premium natural marble and manufacturer of engineered surfaces in India, known for shaping some of the country’s most refined living spaces, has crossed the Rs. 1,000 crore revenue mark in FY26. With this milestone, CMC becomes the first Indian company in its categories of operation to achieve this scale, further strengthening its position as one of the most respected legacy players in the industry.

Recognised as India’s largest importer of premium Italian stones, CMC has consistently benchmarked quality and exclusivity in the premium surfaces segment. For over three decades, the brand has quietly become a part of India’s evolving design landscape touching over 1.5 lakh premium and high net-worth homes each year, and an estimated 50 lakh premium and ultra-premium homes over time. In doing so, it has quietly shaped how modern India lives and experiences luxury.

Founded in 1994, CMC has grown from a single-entrepreneur venture into a professionally led organisation with a workforce of over 2,500 employees. Over the years, it has built a strong leadership team and a dedicated R&D ecosystem comprising world-class marble experts, enabling it to stay ahead of evolving design trends and material innovation.

Today, CMC offers one of the most expansive and thoughtfully curated portfolios in the industry, spanning both natural and engineered surfaces. Its portfolio includes flagship brands such as 9th Avenue, a curated collection of rare and exotic natural stones sourced from leading quarries across the world, and KalingaStone, a leading brand in engineered surfaces including quartz, marble, terrazzo, and porcelain tiles. Whether it is a grand entrance, a statement living space, or a contemporary kitchen, each offering is designed to elevate both the aesthetic and experience of a space. Together, these brands reflect CMC’s strong positioning across both ultra-premium natural and high-performance engineered segments.

With exclusive access to some of the world’s finest quarries, CMC has supplied over 400 million sq. ft. of marble and has been a trusted partner across more than 5,000 designs. Today, its surfaces are an integral part of high net-worth homes, landmark developments, and thoughtfully designed environments across the country.

The company has also built one of the World’s Largest Experience Centers in Silvassa, supported by a robust supply chain management infrastructure. Its engineered surfaces portfolio today includes over 200 designs, complemented by a natural marble collection of over 2,000 varieties, demonstrating both scale and depth. CMC has also played a defining role in shaping India’s engineered stone category through KalingaStone, which today exports to over 67 countries.

Backed by continued investments in advanced manufacturing and proprietary technologies, CMC has introduced innovations such as Forza360, featured in the 9th Avenue collection, enhancing the strength, durability, and finish of natural stone. This technology enables greater precision and seamless cutting, reinforcing CMC’s ability to deliver consistent quality at scale.

At its core, CMC brings together craftsmanship, innovation, and a deep understanding of how people live with their spaces, enabling homeowners, architects, and designers to create environments that feel both timeless and contemporary.

With a strong foundation, a growing global footprint, and continued investments in innovation and capability building, CMC is well-positioned to build on this momentum and expand its presence across both domestic and international markets.

Commenting on the milestone, Amit Shah, Founder & Managing Director, Classic Marble Company, said, “When we started in 1994, the focus was on bringing high-quality marble from around the world to India and building trust in an unorganised market. Crossing INR 1,000 crore today is both a proud and reflective moment, it showcases not just the scale we have achieved, but the discipline and consistency with which we have built the business.”

Adding to this, Mohanraj Jagannivasan, CEO, Classic Marble Company, said, “Crossing the INR 1,000 crore mark is a significant milestone and reflects the strength of the business we have built over the years. As we look ahead, our focus is on strengthening brand-led demand, enhancing the overall customer experience, and continuing to build a more differentiated and future-ready organisation.”

As CMC marks this milestone, it continues to shape how India’s most premium spaces are imagined and experienced, bringing together scale, design, and a deep understanding of evolving consumer aspirations.
