Hyderabad — The Fire & Security Association of India (FSAI), Hyderabad Chapter, in association with the International Copper Association India (ICA India), will host a landmark industry seminar titled “Electrical Safety Excellence — Beyond Compliance” on June 26, 2026, at the Engineering Staff College of India (ESCI), Gachibowli, Hyderabad. Bringing together regulators, policymakers, consultants, engineers, safety professionals, and industry leaders, the event will serve as a premier platform to advance discussions on electrical safety, regulatory compliance, and risk mitigation in India’s evolving built environment.
A key highlight of the seminar will be discussing on the key topics related to Electrical Safety of the National Building Construction Standards (NBCS) 2026, a significant milestone for India’s building, electrical safety, and fire protection ecosystem. The event is expected to provide stakeholders with valuable insights into the new framework and its implications for safer building design, construction practices, and infrastructure development.
The inaugural session will be attended by Shri K. Nanda Kumar, Chief Electrical Inspector to the Government and Ex-Officio Chairperson of the Telangana Electrical Licensing Board, as Chief Guest; Shri Vikram Singh Mann, IPS, Director General of Telangana Fire, Disaster Response, Emergency and Civil Defence, as Guest of Honour; and Shri Linga Reddy, Chief Engineer, Electrical R&B Department, Telangana, as Special Invitee.
The technical sessions will be delivered by a distinguished panel of experts from ICA India, FSAI, leading engineering consultancies, and risk management organisations, bringing together decades of experience in electrical safety, infrastructure development, fire protection, process safety, and regulatory compliance.
The event is being organised under the leadership of Manoj Wahi, President, FSAI Hyderabad Chapter; Huzefa Hussain, Secretary, FSAI Hyderabad Chapter, Valluri Srinivas immediate National past President FSAI.Through this initiative, FSAI and ICA India aim to strengthen awareness, promote best practices, and support the creation of safer, more resilient buildings and infrastructure across India.
