Heritage Institute of Technology Students Win Big at FrostHacks S02 Hackathon

Heritage Institute of Technology (HITK) proudly celebrates an outstanding achievement by its students at FrostHacks S02, a 36-hour offline hackathon hosted by Academy of Technology (AOT) from 26–28 March 2026. In a remarkable feat, two teams from HITK secured First Prize in different tracks, showcasing innovation, teamwork, and technical excellence on a competitive national platform.

Bhoomi Ladia (Team Lead) – CSE (AI & ML), 2nd Year

Aashi Kaur – CSE (AI & ML), 2nd Year

Arunima Dutta – CSE, 2nd Year

Team SheCodes emerged as the Winner of the Education Track, impressing judges with their impactful solution addressing real-world challenges in the education domain.

 Winners – Safety Track

Team Cyber Yoddas

Ayush Kumar (Team Lead) – CSE (IoT), 2nd Year

Shaista Meher – CSE, 2nd Year

Dhiraj Kumar Chowdhury – CSE, 2nd Year

Team Cyber Yoddas secured the Winner’s title in the Safety Track, presenting an innovative solution focused on technology-driven safety applications.

The hackathon was partnered by TCS, and the final round of evaluation was conducted by TCS officials. The winners’ cheque was handed over to the students by Dr. Succendran KM, Global Head – TCS Academic Interface Programme marking the culmination of an intense and inspiring innovation journey.

This dual victory highlights the strong culture of innovation, problem-solving, and industry readiness nurtured at Heritage Institute of Technology. The institute congratulates the winning teams for bringing pride to the Heritage family and reaffirming its commitment to excellence in technology and research.
