Heritage Law College organized induction and orientation programme for the new batch of students

CONCORD 2023- the induction and orientation programme of the new batch of B.A.LLB. students of Heritage Law College Kolkata commenced on 27th September. It was inaugurated by Hon’ble Justice Samapti Chatterjee, Former Judge, Calcutta High Court as the Chief Guest. Mr. Dipnarayan Mittra, Senior Partner, Victor Moses & Co, Mr. Dhrubojyoti De, IPS, Joint Commissioner of Police, Kolkata, Government of West Bengal and Swami Vedatitanandaji Maharaj, Correspondent, Ramakrishna Mission Shilpamandira, Belurmath were the Guests of Honour  for the programme. During the inaugural address, Prof. S.S.Chatterjee, Director, Heritage Law College,  spoke about the various career opportunities Heritage Law College offers to its students. Prof. Basab Chaudhuri, Senior Director- Higher Education, KBT, gave a brief description of the skills and qualities a legal professional should possess to prepare for the future opportunities.  Hon’ble Justice Samapti Chatterjee focused on the ways a legal professional should equip to move on in the right direction.  Mr. Dipnarayan Mittra spoke about the ways one should prepare to embrace the changes in the legal profession. Mr. Dhrubajyoti De spoke about the essential qualities the future legal professional should possess as a student during these 5 years of their study.

More than 200 students, teachers, staff, well-wishers and parents attended the programme which marked an important event in the history of Heritage Group of Institutions Kolkata.
