Hybrid Living is Gaining Popularity Reveals Colive Survey

  • 62 per cent of the colivers prefer hybrid living as office space, and 86 per cent of the occupants are young employees
  • 30 per cent believe it offers affordable luxury, while 25 per cent prefer coliving as it provides convenient services
  • 43 per cent choose coliving properties due to the location, and only 13 per cent are interested in the community engagements

Bengaluru: Colive, India’s leading prop-tech platform for rental accommodation, released a report covering data and insights about the coliving trends based on a survey conducted with over 250 people in the age group 19-29 living in Colive properties. The report covers the sentiments of the coliving customers based on parameters like preference, occupancy pattern, and why they choose coliving.

With offices and colleges reopening, Colive has been witnessing 8 per cent week-on-week growth. The survey projects that 86 per cent of the occupants are young employees. The pandemic has influenced the hybrid living culture, which is now one of the most preferred accommodation types as it offers the convenience of working. According to the survey, 63 per cent of the colivers prefer hybrid living as office space, while only 22 per cent want to go back to offices and 13 per cent prefer working from home.
