NeighborWorks Housing Solutions to Hold November 3rd “Opening Doors, Changing Lives” Gala

KINGSTON, QUINCY, BROCKTON, BOSTON, TAUNTON, and NEW BEDFORD, MA : NeighborWorks® Housing Solutions (NHS; www.nhsmass.org), the leading housing service provider in southern Massachusetts, is excited to announce this year’s Opening Doors Changing Lives Gala, which is scheduled for Thursday, November 3rd at the Granite Links Golf Club in Quincy

The fully in-person gala will begin with a cocktail reception at 6 p.m. and feature lively games, a one-of-a-kind silent auction, incredible dinner, and engaging program. 

“We are especially grateful to NEI General Contracting who, in partnership with us, have committed in a transformative way,” said Serenity Belo, director of resource development at NeighborWorks Housing Solutions.  “All of our sponsors and partners have truly stepped up to make this event exciting and impactful.”

In addition to NEI General Contracting, Silicon Valley Bank, Bank of Canton, Curtis Construction, and Dellbrook JKS have stepped up again this year as lead sponsors of the gala.

“We are excited to celebrate another year of the great work being done every day by the incredible NHS team,” said Robert Corley, CEO of NeighborWorks Housing Solutions.  “This has been a challenging year, but we have a lot to celebrate.  I am grateful to all of our staff for the tremendous work they have done over the past year.  I am also grateful to our supporters and sponsors who continue to partner with us and help us advance our mission and serve so many in our community.  We are  looking forward to seeing many new and familiar and new faces on November 3rd.”

Funds raised at the gala will support the programs and people served by NeighborWorks Housing Solutions, including affordable housing, home-buyer education, resources, emergency shelter, small business and home modification loans, homelessness prevention services, housing counseling, and so much more.  NHS has been providing these services to the community for more than 40 years and will continue to do so thanks in part to the proceeds from the gala.
