On the occasion of World Health Day, a Flipkart Spokesperson said,

“Wellbeing isn’t built through policies alone; it shows up in the everyday choices we make for our people. That means rethinking benefits to reflect how our employees actually live their lives today, and the many different family structures that they are a part of.

For us, that includes extending coverage to partners across diverse relationships, supporting LGBTQ+ employees more meaningfully, and enabling access to gender affirmation care, because inclusion has to be tangible to matter.

At the same time, we’ve tried to make support more accessible and continuous, whether it’s 24/7 mental health and nutrition support, or creating spaces like the Zen Garden in our office, which is equipped with global and indigenous healing techniques, where people can pause and rejuvenate in the middle of a busy day.

On World Health Day, it’s a reminder that care works best when it is personal, flexible, and relevant. When people feel seen and supported in ways that reflect who they are, they’re able to bring their best selves to work, and that’s what we’re continuing to build at Flipkart.”
