Bengaluru: Zenergize, an Indian power-electronics company, Zenergize announced the launch of its new 15 kW three-phase Grid-Tied Solar Inverter, expanding its solar portfolio to cater to higher-capacity residential and small commercial applications, following strong adoption of its solutions in the residential segment. The inverter was unveiled at Infineon Technologies’ annual OktoberTech event in Bengaluru, where Zenergize was also announced as an Infineon partner.
Designed to perform reliably across India’s diverse grid and climatic conditions, the new inverter offers a maximum efficiency of up to 98.5% and a conversion efficiency of 98.2%. It supports up to 20 kWp of PV power input and is equipped with three MPPT trackers, providing greater flexibility and optimisation in solar system configurations. Designed for varied operating environments, the inverter functions across temperatures ranging from -25°C to 55°C, features an IP65-rated enclosure, and incorporates integrated electrical and grid-protection mechanisms.
The new 15 kW inverter builds on Zenergize’s existing range of 3 kW and 5 kW SiC-based solar inverters, including solutions deployed under the PM Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana. With the introduction of the higher-capacity model, Zenergize is broadening its offering to meet the growing power requirements of larger homes, villas, institutions and small commercial establishments.
Navneet Daga, Co-founder & CEO, Zenergize, said, “As rooftop solar adoption accelerates across India, the opportunity is rapidly expanding beyond conventional residential installations to larger homes, institutions and small businesses with higher energy requirements. These applications demand not only greater power capacity, but also high efficiency, reliability and consistent performance across India’s diverse grid and climatic conditions. With the launch of our 15 kW three-phase Grid-Tied Solar Inverter, we are taking the manufacturing capabilities and learnings built through our existing inverters into a larger and high-potential segment of the market. This launch marks an important step in our journey to build advanced, efficient and reliable solar power solutions that are planned for India and designed to scale with the country’s growing clean-energy needs’’
The launch also marks a strengthening of Zenergize’s technology ecosystem through its partnership with Infineon Technologies. Zenergize’s second-generation inverter platform uses Silicon Carbide (SiC) technology, which enables lower power losses, improved thermal performance and greater efficiency in demanding operating conditions.
Daga added, “Our focus is on building power-electronics products in India around the operating realities of the markets we serve. Our partnership with Infineon strengthens this technology-led approach, bringing together our application and system-level capabilities with Infineon’s semiconductor expertise as we develop the next generation of power-electronics products.”
The partnership and product unveiling took place at Infineon’s OktoberTech event in Bengaluru, which brought together industry and technology leaders across Energy, Power & Infrastructure; Mobility; and AI, IoT & Deep Tech.
With the latest launch, Zenergize continues to expand its indigenous power-electronics portfolio across solar energy and electric mobility, with a focus on locally engineered and manufactured products for India’s energy infrastructure.
