BRAINTREE, MA ….Peak Physical Therapy & Sports Performance, a South Shore practice specializing in unique programs that provide comprehensive treatment in orthopedic, spine and sports medicine specialties, has expanded their Pediatric Center located at 501 John Mahar Highway in Braintree.
The clinic opened last year and has recently added more square footage to accommodate patients. The clinic treats patients from newborns to young adults. The state-of-the-art clinic is outfitted with equipment that can rehabilitate a wide variety of conditions from neurological issues such as cerebral palsy and spinal cord issues. In addition they treat developmental delays, torticollis, gait disorders, genetic disorders and more. They are also able to do equipment evaluations. Specialized equipment includes light gait ambulation system and a suspension balance system.
The specially trained therapists at the Pediatric Center will work with infants, children, young adults and their families to assist each child in reaching their maximum potential to function independently and to promote active participation in home, school and the community. The therapists have expertise in movement, motor development and body structure.
