Cara Curran PT, DPT Joins Peak Physical Therapy & Sports Performance at Scituate Clinic

SCITUATE, MA … Peak Physical Therapy & Sports Performance, a South Shore practice specializing in unique programs that provide comprehensive treatment in orthopedic, spine and sports medicine specialties, recently announced that Cara Curran PT, DPT has joined the professional staff at the Scituate Clinic.

A native of Westford, MA Curran earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Sacred Heart University in Fairfield CT while competing as a member of the NCAA Division 1 Ice Hockey Team. She is Dry Needle certified and trained as a Pelvic Health Physical Therapist at Herman and Wallace. Curran is a member of the American Physical Therapist Association and presented a complex case study on a 27 year old male status post liver transplantation complicated by incomplete spinal cord injury and thrombocytopenia at their annual Fall Conference

Curran is the founder and owner of Spot Running Company which is focused on training runners to reach their fitness goals injury free and she is a running coach through the Road Runners Club of America. She has completed two World Major Marathons and just recently completed the Marine Corps Marathon. As a hiker her most memorable hike was Machu Picchu. She currently resides in Weymouth and in her spare time enjoys gardening, skiing and trail running with her family and dog.
