Heritage Institute of Technology will host the 76th CHEMCON 2023

Heritage Institute of Technology Kolkata is hosting the 76th Annual Session of Indian Institute of Chemical Engineers ‘CHEMCON 2023’ which is organized by Indian Institute of Chemical Engineers in association with Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Petroleum Technology, University of Calcutta, Jadavpur University and Heritage Institute of Technology from 27th December till 30th December.The inaugural session of the Conference on 27th December will be addressed by His Excellency Hon’ble Governor of West Bengal, Dr. C.V. Ananda Bose as the Chief Guest.The Conference will witness the participation of more than 1400 scientists, faculty members of various academic institutions, research scholars and students from various engineering colleges across the Country.24 eminent speakers from the Industry and academia will address the conference which will deliberate on the theme, Energy Transition: Challenges & Opportunities.26 invited speakers will visit the Conference and address various sessions at Heritage Institute of Technology, Kolkata.Dr. N.Kalaiselvi, Director general, CSIR, and Secretary, DSIR, Govt. of India, Prof. G.D.yadav, Emeritus Professor of Eminence and Former Vice-chancellor, ICT, Mumbai, Ms. Sukla Mistry, Director – Refinery, IOCL, mr. debasish nanda, Director- Business development, Coal India, Mr. Parthasarathi Chatterjee, Executive Vice President- head, Offshore Oil & Gas, L&T Ltd, Mr. Arup Jhampri, Chief Operating Officer, ONGC, Mr. Subhankar Chakraborty, Vice president- R&D, Exide Industries Ltd  and many more among the eminent speakers will address various sessions at the Conference.“This is an excellent platform for the Chemical Engineers to upgrade their knowledge and network with eminent personalities in this field,” said Mr. Vikram Swarup, Vice-Chairman, Heritage Group of Institutions, Kolkata and Chairman, Local organizing Committee, CHEMCON 2023.”These three days will witness a huge gathering of scientists in Kolkata who will discuss about the future of energy and how chemical engineering is shaping up the future,” said Mr. D.M.Butala, President, Indian Institute of Chemical Engineers.”We are thankful to the almighty to get the opportunity to host such a Conference where a galaxy of scientists will visit our Institute.
