About the Artist
Karthik Sundar Gubbi, known by his stage name Gubbi, is a multilingual rapper, lyricist, and composer from Bengaluru, performing in Kannada, English, Hindi, and German. A pioneering voice in the city’s Rap scene, Gubbi began his journey through text rap battles in 2007 and developed a unique bilingual style by 2011. His work spans socially conscious themes to humorous takes on South Indian beats, with collaborations across diverse musical traditions.
