Ecoworld, Bengaluru, is set to host a Blood Stem Cell Donor Registration Drive in partnership with DKMS Foundation India, raising awareness about blood cancer and blood disorders, and encouraging individuals to register as potential lifesavers. The drive is being brought to the community by Brookfield Properties, a leading global developer and operator of high-quality real estate assets.
DKMS Foundation India is a non-profit organisation dedicated to the fight against blood cancer and other blood disorders such as thalassemia and aplastic anaemia. With over 250,000 registered donors and 250+ donations facilitated in India, the foundation operates across 7 countries with a global registry of over 13 million registered donors.
At the drive, visitors will have the opportunity to attend an awareness session, learn about the simple and non-surgical process of stem cell donation, and register on the spot.
