Bengaluru: Freedom Healthy Cooking Oils in association with Kalki Sports 2026 organised the 2nd Edition of ‘Freedom Oil Bengaluru Half Marathon at NICE Road, Hosakerehalli, Bengaluru. It was a grand success with over 6000+ runners participating and finishing the run. The event was organized to promote running as the primary form of fitness and encouraging a healthy lifestyle. The race was flagged off by Mr. Chetan Pimpalkhute, Head, Marketing, Gemini Edibles & Fats India Ltd. along with other dignitaries.
The Freedom Oil Bengaluru Half Marathon witnessed overwhelming participation with more than 6000 runners making their presence felt in the 21.1K, 10K & 5K race. A Zumba session was conducted to prepare the runners for the race. Participants were seen stretching and warming up in preparation at the flag off point. The atmosphere was excitingly charged with a sportive feel. People of all ages from the young to the old gathered at the venue with their sprightly gear all blended up for the occasion. Top three finishers in different categories (men & women) were awarded cash prizes and all finishers received Finisher Medals. A healthy breakfast was organized for the participants.
