Alia Bhatt went the extra mile to thank the COVID-19 frontline workers and sent them something personalized
Alia Bhatt appreciated the COVID-19 frontline workers in the sweetest way possible, literally. The actress sent doctors, nurses and every other person on the frontline a box of chocolates (the healthy ones). She sent the box with a thank you note.
“Thank you for all you are doing to keep the community healthy and safe. You are the real heroes,” read the note. Apart from chocolate bar, Alia sent food items like bun bread, apple, curd, butter and apple juice.
One of the frontline workers, Dr. Shripad Gangapurkar of Mumbai’s KEM Hospital took to Twitter and sharing the image of items from the box along with the thank you note, thanked the actress for the sweet surprise. He wrote, “Thank you @aliaa08 for such a sweet surprise..much appreciated in these bitter times of pandemic..!!”
Alia Bhatt is currently quarantining at home. She has been spending most of her time with beau Ranbir Kapoor. On the work front, Alia would share screen space with Ranbir in Ayan Mukerji’s ‘Brahmastra’. The movie is in its post-production stage. The actress was going to commence shooting for Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Gangubai Kathiawadi’, but the set had to be demolished after coronavirus lockdown was announced.
