Bajaj Allianz Life and upGrad launches virtual Hackathon to scale India’s analytical capabilities

Pune : Bajaj Allianz Life Insurance, one of India’s leading private life insurers in partnership with upGrad, Asia’s largest higher edtech company, has launched the Bajaj Allianz Life Hackathon – a nation-wide case study competition to discover and attract young talent with strong, solution-oriented approach to key business problems. The initiative will help participants to test their analytical capabilities, which in turn, can empower them with meaningful employment in the future.

Participants will be required to solve a business problem related to data analytics as defined by Bajaj Allianz Life. The task involves developing a Machine Learning-based product recommendation model, basis the profile and history of the customer. Winning ideas will stand a chance to secure internship opportunities with Bajaj Allianz Life, along with assured cash prizes.

The online hackathon will be open to upGrad learners who are enrolled for the Data Science, Machine Learning, and Big Data program and candidates with less than 5 years of work experience.

The first leg of Bajaj Allianz Life Hackathon will kickstart from 23 September 2022, and will conclude on 9 October 2022. Shortlisted applicants will get an opportunity to present their solutions to the jury from Bajaj Allianz Life and win cash prizes up to INR. 1 lac or a stipend-led internship with the company.
