BSH Home Appliances Launches a multi-linguistic contact centre in Chennai

BSH Home Appliances has today launched a multi-linguistic contact center in Chennai, with an aim to better support customers in southern India. This will be BSH’s second multi-linguistic centre in India and will allow customers to choose from languages like Tamil, Malayalam, Telugu and Kannada, English, and Hindi.

The center is also equipped with live appliances to help employees answer customer enquiries based on their own experiences of using the products, which is unique in appliances category in India.

On the launch of the contact center, Neeraj Bahl, MD & CEO, BSH Home Appliances said, “We are excited to launch our second multi-linguistic call center in Chennai. Customer service is priority for us and through this centre, our aim is to ensure that all customer’s get their queries addressed in their preferred language, for their comfort. Our Mumbai centre has received a positive response and we are looking forward to a similar response from the Chennai center as well. Chennai continues to be an important market for us at BSH Home Appliances”.

The first ever multi-linguistic center was launched in Mumbai, Maharashtra in 2011 where about 1.5 million connects are managed monthly. The centre currently operates in Hindi, English, and mix of Marathi and Gujarati.
