CACTUS partners with IndiaBioscience to create researcher training programs

Cactus Communications (CACTUS), has partnered with IndiaBioscience to conduct training sessions for PhD students and postdoctoral fellows in the life sciences industry in India. These online training sessions will be conducted starting 5th August 2022 under the aegis of the event ‘Write Right series in Research Communication’ by Editage and IndiaBioscience.

Commenting on this partnership, Abhishek Goel, CEO & Co-founder, of CACTUS, said, “We at CACTUS are driven by a passion to provide skill-building opportunities and facilitate career development for Early Career Researchers (ECRs) globally. With IndiaBioscience as our partner, we will now conceptualise and conduct a supportive series of skill-building training sessions for researchers in the Indian life sciences industry, which we believe will help the community immensely.”

With our collaboration with CACTUS for research training programs, we aim to foster these skills in a world-class community of researchers in life sciences.”

The one-hour training sessions will occur every Friday 4-5 PM IST for 5 weeks starting from 5th August 2022. These workshops aim to provide comprehensive training in research communication to a group of 50 selected participants for each workshop. Over the sessions, the workshop will cover various topics around literature review, manuscript writing, manuscript proofreading & editing, and many more sessions exclusively prepared to help participants understand the criticality of writing and structuring good manuscripts to improve the chances of their paper getting published.
