Canadian International School Holds One-Of-A-Kind Onam Celebrations With Students, Teachers & Staff From 40 Different Nationalities

Bangalore: In a bid to spread positivity, joy and cheer during the lockdown, students of Canadian International School (CIS) collaborated digitally to celebrate this year’s Onam in a unique way. As a multicultural school with students and faculty from over 40 different nationalities, the CIS community enjoys getting together to celebrate all festivals. Teachers along with the students and their parents dressed in all their Onam finery to conduct the festivities of the day.  The students also shared the joy of Onam Sadya with their teachers and classmates and entertained everyone with various folk songs related to the festival.

“This year’s Onam celebration will always be memorable for me. I had never thought that I will be able to celebrate Onam this year with my CIS family. However, by collaborating online with my fellow mates and teachers, I was able to celebrate the festival with zest” said Justine, CIS student.
