Capital Foods hit Silver Jubilee milestone and the journey still continues

The parent company of Ching’s Secret and Smith and Jones, has been revolutionizing the culinary industry in India since its inception in 1996.

Mumbai: Capital Foods – India’s biggest culinary food company – has launched many pioneering products which have go to create categories by themselves and become household names in the country over the last 25 years, under the leadership of its Founder, Chairman, and Managing Director Ajay Gupta. Building on its existing consumer base in western and central India, it has also announced making significant inroads into northern, eastern and southern Indian markets, specifically the cities of Chennai and Hyderabad.

As the legacy food brand completes 25 years of ‘innovision’ in foods, this year, it has also launched three pioneering, world-class products that add zing to Indian palates. These include Ching’s Secret Dragon Fire Chutney – Taste so unique that it will start a party in the mouth, the Ching’s Secret Sriracha Green Chilli Sauce — World’s most popular sauce from Thailand, made with fresh green Thai chillies — and Jain Schezwan Chutney — India’s most favourite chutney without onion and garlic.

Moreover, Capital Foods has launched several well-executed brand marketing campaigns off-late, and roped in celebrities such as Rohit Shetty and Ranveer Singh. The latter featured in Ching’s Secret’s stellar campaign film (‘Made in India’) in continuation of the Ranveer Ching brand ad franchise, while Shetty createdthefilm! Under Gupta, the brand also launched crowd favourite campaigns such as ‘Desi Chinese Humara Hai’ and ‘Pasta Masala Ka Blockbuster’. Shetty features as the face of Smith & Jones Pasta Masala in the third campaign.

The innovative technological advancements can be attributed to the strategic decisions made by Gupta, whose stable leadership since 1996 has been able to take the brand to specific demographics and showcase the company’s unique offerings in the culinary industry. The success of these campaigns has even been reflected in the company’s financial performance, with significant increases in revenue and profitability.
