Frederique Constant Introduces Distinctive Indian Dial—The Classics Index Small Seconds Automatic Timepiece

India : This Festive Season, Frederique Constant introduces the Classics Index Small Seconds Automatic, a refined timepiece that blends classic watchmaking design with distinctive Indian-inspired details. Featuring a polished stainless-steel case, a light blue sunray-finished dial, applied Indian indexes and a small seconds display at 6 o’clock, the timepiece presents a balanced and elegant interpretation of the Classics collection.

At the heart of the watch is the FC-530 automatic calibre, offering a 38-hour power reserve, operating at 28,800 alt/h and equipped with 31 jewels. The movement displays hours, minutes and small seconds, with the small seconds sub-dial positioned at 6 o’clock, creating a balanced and symmetrical dial layout.

The 39 mm polished stainless-steel two-part case, with a height of 11.65 mm, is complemented by an anti-reflective convex sapphire crystal. The watch is water-resistant up to 5 ATM / 50 metres / 165 feet, while an engraved solid threaded case back completes the case construction.

The light blue dial with sunray finishing creates a subtle play of light across its surface. Adding to the character of the dial are the applied Indian indexes, complemented by nickelled hour and minute hands filled with white Super-LumiNova® for enhanced visibility.

Completing the design is a five-link brushed and polished stainless-steel bracelet with an interchangeable system and folding clasp. The combination of brushed and polished surfaces complements the refined character of the timepiece while offering versatility.
