Indian Overseas Bank launches Online Re-KYC Facility for Hassle-Free Customer Experience

Chennai: Indian Overseas Bank (IOB), one of India’s leading public sector bank, has launched an online Re-KYC facility, simplifying the Know Your Customer (KYC) update process for its customers. This new service allows customers to update their KYC details either through the IOB website, SMS or email facilities, removing the need for physical branch visits.

With the online Re-KYC facility, customers who have previously submitted valid KYC documents can update their details through three user-friendly channels:

  • Website: Visit the IOB website (www.iob.in), navigate to the Self-Service Digital Hub on the homepage, select the “Re-KYC” option, and follow the provided link to initiate and complete the process.
  • SMS: Send an SMS in the format “REKYC <Space> CIF ID” to 9643-01-9643 from your registered mobile number (e.g., REKYC 198979695).
  • Email: Send an email with the subject line “REKYC <Space> CIF ID” to [email protected] from your registered email address (e.g., REKYC 198979695).
