Hyderabad: KL Deemed to be University takes a front seat in commemorating the extraordinary achievements and contributions of women across various sectors. The Women’s Forum/Women Development Cell of the university is excited to announce its commitment to recognizing and honoring the exceptional dedication and skills displayed by female students, faculty members, and staff. The Women’s Forum has unveiled FemFlare-2K24, a dynamic and inspiring event designed to empower and motivate women.
FemFlare is set to host an International Women Summit. This summit aims to foster thought-provoking discussions, networking opportunities, and empowerment initiatives. The event will feature over 100+ events, with more than one lakh prizes distributed among participants, culminating in a felicitation ceremony to acknowledge and reward outstanding contributions made by women to the university community.
Smt. Koneru Siva Kanchana Latha, Honorable Secretary, KL Education Foundation emphasized the importance of recognizing women’s achievements, stating, “Women should be given more credit for their accomplishments, their voices should be heard, their abilities should be developed, and opportunities to excel in all areas should be provided.” She advocated for ensuring women’s perspectives are heard, challenging oppression, and providing resources and support for women to reach their potential. “As we honor the incredible achievements of women, let us strive to build a society where gender equality is not just a goal, but a lived reality,” she added.
Under the distinguished leadership of Chief Patron Smt. Koneru Siva Kanchana Latha, Dr. G. Pardha Saradhi Varma, Vice Chancellor, the events are led by Dr. K Ruth Ramya, Chairperson and Associate Dean of Student Affairs, along with other faculty and staff, to celebrate and advance women’s empowerment. The event highlights the commitment to inclusivity and gender equality, ensuring that every voice is heard and valued, and every woman’s potential is acknowledged and nurtured.
Every year, FemFlare stands as a milestone event in the journey towards gender equality and empowerment, marking a significant celebration of the invaluable contributions of women to the KL Deemed to be University community and beyond.
