As part of its aggressive international expansion plan, Global Study Abroad platform, Leverage Edu has announced that it has opened its first office in Sydney, Australia. This news comes after the company started its operations in the UK last year, and Nigeria in the beginning of this year.
Akshay Chaturvedi, Founder & CEO, Leverage Edu said “We have been building the foundation for our foray into Australia for a while and have admitted quality students into the country pre-pandemic. The LeverageEdu.com platform today receives an audience of 75Mn+ students annually and conducts 100,000+ counseling sessions every month. Jack Whaley, previously with Charles Sturt University & CQ University, will be leading the company’s efforts in Australia. Digvijay Gagneja, COO, who leads university relationships for the company, will oversee the region.
Chaturvedi goes on to say, “We will also be strongly due diligencing the Universities we start to work with, in the interest of our student communities in India & Nigeria. Factors like student visa sponsorship, track record of graduate employment, the right curricular accreditations etc are important.
