ManipalCigna Health Insurance Organizes Health Awareness Drive and Check-up Camp in Neraluru, Karnataka

Bengaluru: ManipalCigna Health Insurance, one of India’s fastest-growing standalone health insurance companies, organized an insurance awareness drive and health check-up camp at Government School Neraluru, Anekal taluk in Bengaluru Urban. This initiative is part of ManipalCigna’s ongoing mission to promote health insurance awareness and preventive healthcare across Karnataka, with a special focus on reaching families across Tier 2-3 areas.

The camp was attended by over 150 parents and students from the local community. As part of the initiative, ManipalCigna Health Insurance conducted free full-body health check-ups, offering essential screenings and consultations. Additionally, health and hygiene medi-kits were distributed to all participating students, reinforcing the importance of personal well-being. Recognizing the importance of building health security from an early age, this initiative created an interactive platform for families to understand the significance of early health intervention and the benefits of health insurance.

Sapna Desai, Chief Marketing Officer, ManipalCigna Health Insurance, said, “As an organization, we believe that health insurance awareness should begin at an early age, empowering families to make informed choices for their well-being and financial security. By reaching out to students and parents in schools, especially in Tier 2 and Tier 3 towns, we are nurturing a culture of preparedness and protection that will benefit communities for generations. The encouraging response we have received for our awareness program across Karnataka, reassures us that we are on the right path.”

In line with the Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India’s (IRDAI) vision of “Insurance for All by 2047”, ManipalCigna is intensifying its efforts in Karnataka, one of the company’s key focus states as one of the lead insurers, to ensure more individuals and families understand the value of health insurance and have access to quality healthcare. By conducting awareness drives and health camps at the grassroots level, ManipalCigna is helping bridge the protection gap and support the national goal of universal insurance coverage
