Narayana Schools Students Win Three Gold Medals for India in IOAA (International Olympiad on Astronomy & Astrophysics )2026
Gurugram : Narayana Schools celebrates the remarkable achievement of its students Akshat Srivastava from Gurugram, Pranjal Dixit from Hyderabad, and Sumant Gupta from Mohali, who won Gold Medals for India at the 19th International Olympiad on Astronomy & Astrophysics (IOAA) 2026, held in Hanoi, Vietnam.
The three students were among the five members of Team India, whose outstanding performance helped India secure a joint third position among 64 countries, alongside Vietnam’s guest team. Their achievement marks a significant accomplishment for the students, their families, mentors and Narayana Schools.
The International Olympiad on Astronomy & Astrophysics (IOAA) is one of the world’s premier international competitions in astronomy and astrophysics for school students, bringing together talented young minds from across the globe. The competition tests students on their understanding of astronomy and astrophysics, along with their analytical and problem-solving abilities.
