KINGSTON, QUINCY, BROCKTON, BOSTON, NEW BEDFORD … NeighborWorks® Housing Solutions (NHS; www.nhsmass.org), the leading housing service provider in southern Massachusetts, is grateful to Santander for their recent donation of $20,000.
Santander’s support will help NeighborWorks Housing Solutions and their work in the South Coast region, including New Bedford. NHS has had a long history of providing service and support in the New Bedford community; this grant will provide additional resources that will assist and help residents secure their housing and make progress toward financial well-being.
Additionally, this grant will support NHS’s Homebuyer Education program in New Bedford. This program provides education and resources that help first-time buyers navigate the financial opportunities available to them and offers one-on-one support by NHS’s HUD-certified Housing Counselors as participants move through the purchasing process.
Santander and NHS have enjoyed a long-standing partnership with the collective goal of providing support and financial resources to individuals and families in the region. “We appreciate the work being done in communities like New Bedford,” said Catherine Medina-Perez, Philanthropy Sr. Associate of Santander. “We know that NeighborWorks has a strong reputation for providing homeownership services, and we are happy to partner with them on these initiatives.”
