Pride Group of Hotels has announced its first post-pandemic event in the hospitality industry with the Pride Cup for Lawn Tennis in collaboration with Indian Hospitality Network, Bharat and Play Tennis Academy, New Delhi. The tournament will take place on 20th and 21st November 2021. The Pride Cup for Lawn Tennis will have over 500 entries from the corporate world. Travel Wizus is the prize sponsor for the event.
Mr. Amit Sidana, Vice President- Sales & Marketing, Pride Group of Hotels, says, “From March 2020 when the Pandemic erupted our lives had come to a standstill. Since then, employees and professionals have faced enormous work pressure. We aim to support and enhance the health and well-being of all participants through this event. Through such a concept, the Hospitality Industry & Corporate will be supporting each other. It will be the first-ever initiative from the Hospitality Industry to host a Sports event in India.”
In this professionally organized tournament, participants will have singles and doubles playing format categories. Pride Cup for Lawn Tennis will have knock-out rounds on the 20th and the Semifinal & Finals are scheduled on 21st November. The winners will be awarded with international & domestic stay and food vouchers. After the COVID-19 pandemic, this tournament is one of the first tournaments in the region.
