SafeStorage built-up on its capabilities to ensure safety of warehouses against heavy cyclonic rains

Chennai : SafeStorage®, India’s leading self- storage solution provider had stepped up to ensure extra safety and protection against cyclonic heavy rains in Chennai. SafeStorage continued to offer exemplary services in the difficult times. SafeStorage took some precautionary measures to ensure proper maintenance against natural calamities.

Enclosed below are the three measures undertaken by the company to sustain the level of safety:

The warehouses are built on a minimum high of 4 feet above ground level to avoid water logging and protection against heavy rains and natural disasters such as cyclones. Warehouses are strategically built in the areas where water logging can be avoided.

Most boxes have silica gel sachets in them to avoid humidity from damaging the constituents. Constant pest control, restacking, internal audits and warehouse cleaning ensure that the quality of the products is not depleted.

As a company, SafeStorage strives to take care of its employees and workers in the best way possible. It facilitates rooms for most of the workers with proper meals, thrice a day. In case of a natural disaster, operations are halted and steps are taken listed down in internal audit. Workers are also trained during this time.

Managing customer satisfaction is of utmost priority for SafeStorage. The company had implemented initiatives such as ‘video demo’ wherein customers can book a slot for digital check via video conferencing and the executive showcases the warehouse and explain the safety measures being undertaken. SafeStorage also shared live video streaming link for limited period of time, where all customers were notified to view and share their feedback and inputs. SafeStorage uploaded customer goods’ images in the customer portal after six months of tenure along with the CCTV footage of the warehouse premises.
