Savlon Swasth India Mission announces ‘Hygiene Sahi Toh Health Sahi’

~ A Health Awareness Initiative in partnership with Times Network ~

The pandemic has made hygiene a global priority. Good hygiene and sanitation habits are imperative to reduce the burden of communicable diseases. This requires a large attitudinal & behavioural change in Indian society. To enhance awareness on the significance of this issue, Savlon Swasth India Mission has partnered with the Time Network to create a dedicated ‘Hygiene Sahi Toh Health Sahi’ communication initiative.

‘Hygiene Sahi Toh Health Sahi’ is an awareness and action -oriented campaign which brings together eminent and influential voices to encourage behavioural change and advocate hygiene enablers needed in India for effective disease prevention. Scheduled to be rolled out in December 2021, the programme includes a series of dialogues with experts, invites opinions from the public and highlights the changes required to build hygiene as a habit. The initiative will be supported through an awareness drive on Times Network’s news and digital platforms – TIMES NOW, Times Now Navbharat, ET NOW to impact positive behavioural change.

Savlon Swasth India Mission, ITC’s health and hygiene initiative has been a frontrunner in driving behavioural change towards hygiene since its inception in 2016. In line with Savlon Swasth India Mission’s purpose of Healthier Kids, Stronger India, the endeavor is to inspire individuals to adopt right hygiene as a way of life. ‘Hygiene Sahi Toh Health Sahi’ is a proactive step forward to reinforce the importance of hygiene through meaningful dialogues and insights.
