Chennai : Shiv Nadar University Chennai, part of Shiv Nadar Foundation and one of India’s premier institutions, has announced its entrance exams for the 2023 session. Entrance tests are to be held across 10 cities, which include Chennai, Delhi, Mumbai, Coimbatore, Madurai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Vijayawada, Trivandrum, and Kolkata. The exams will take place in phases between 8th April to 17th June 2023, offering abundant possibilities for prospective students to showcase their talents and secure their future at the renowned University. Prospective students will also have the flexibility to take the entrance exams at any of the 10 designated cities, offering a chance to reschedule if a conflict arises with their initially chosen city or exam date. However, a candidate can appear for the test for any specific program only once.

The University offers six specialized undergraduate programs in the disciplines of engineering, commerce, and humanities. These contemporary programs are industry-oriented, nurturing knowledge and skill sets that will enable students to enter and excel in an evolving professional or educational landscape, both in India and abroad.
Currently, the University has 815 students and 55 faculty and staff members.

Shiv Nadar University Chennai strives to make the admission process accessible and accommodating to all interested candidates. The University is the first private state university to be legislated in Tamil Nadu after 90 years (since the Annamalai University Act in 1928) upon the passing of the Shiv Nadar University Act 2018. Students will pursue undergraduate degrees in six specialized courses. These programs have been designed in line with the evolving educational and professional requirements within India and abroad.
