South Shore Chamber Promotes Julie Williams to Vice President

Rockland, MA: The South Shore Chamber of Commerce recently announced that Julie Williams has been promoted to Vice President.

A resident of Marshfield, Williams joined the Chamber more than six years ago and most recently served as the Director of Membership.

“Julie has done an amazing job with our membership and we will look to her to lead the Chamber’s strategic plan moving forward,” said Peter Forman, President and CEO of the South Shore Chamber. “Julie brings great energy and is a wonderful advocate for our members. Her tremendous skills will serve us well as we fulfill our South Shore 2030 economic development plan.”

“As a lifelong resident of the South Shore, I am excited for the opportunity to lead the Chamber’s direction forward,” said Williams. “One of our exceptional strengths is to connect and engage members, businesses, legislators, and residents across the region through shared information which will be a priority for us this year.”

In her role as Vice President, Williams will manage and implement the organizational strategic plan, and grow and evolve the Chamber to meet regional, industry and environmental emerging trends. She will lead the development of and drive Chamber strategies to deliver quality member/customer experiences through mission-based programming, engagement, and communications.

Prior to joining the Chamber in 2015, Williams held marketing roles at Boston ad agencies, national and local publishing businesses, and a national fitness technology franchise. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication from Stonehill College.
