On 23rd August,2023, India became the First Country in the world to land on the South Pole of the Moon after the successful landing of Chandrayaan 3. The milestone of success was also experienced by more than 250 students from Heritage Group of Institutions, Kolkata, Live at The heritage campus.
It was also a moment of celebration at The Heritage campus. Alumni members of Heritage Institute of Technology, Subhdradip Ghosh from B.Tech- Chemical Engineering, Batch-2017, who is currently a Scientist at ISRO was involved in this mission. Moreover Sourav Sinha, B.Tech- AEIE, Batch-2022 who had recently joined as a Scientist at ISRO joined this momentous occasion with the team of scientists where India had created a record after the successful landing of Chandrayaan 3.
“We were quite excited to watch this phenomenal event which is now a historic moment. Our Country is now setting an example to the other Countries in the world in science & technology,” said Sampurna Ghosh, a student from the B.Tech-AEIE.
