Taneira, the women’s ethnic wear brand from Titan, the TATA Group Company welcomes Puthandu, the Tamil New Year, with the grand launch of its flagship store in the city. Located at Anna Nagar, the store was inaugurated by Mrs. Jayashree Muralidharan, I.A.S. – Special Secretary to Government, Industries department, Chennai and Mr. C K Venkataraman – Managing Director, Titan Company Ltd, in the presence of Mr. Ambuj Narayan – Chief Executive Officer, Taneira and Mr. Sharad – Regional Business Head – South, Titan Company Ltd.
Spread across 3500 sq. ft., the store is located at Shop No. W-100, Second Avenue, Anna Nagar and is the twentieth store by Taneira in India. A high street stand-alone building, the store houses an extensive range of handcrafted collections across sarees, blouses, ready-to-wear kurtas & kurta sets carefully crafted with the most authentic weaves from across the country. As we get ready to celebrate Puthandu, Taneira brings best of India under one roof with a rich assemblage of diverse textiles and craftsmanship ranging from exquisite Banarasi silks, rich Kanjeevarams including Chanderis and Maheshwaris from Madhya Pradesh, Jamdanis from Bengal, Ikats from Gujarat & Andhra Pradesh and a vast collection of Tussars from Bihar, Chhattisgarh and Orissa and much more.
