Bengaluru : This Halloween, The King’s School Canterbury, Bengaluru invites young explorers to step into The King’s Potion Laboratory, an immersive experience that blends seasonal magic with playful learning. Designed for children aged 3–8 years, the experience will transform little ones into Apprentice Potion Makers, encouraging them to observe, predict, experiment and create as they uncover the mysteries of three magical potions: the Potion of Curiosity, the Potion of Imagination and the Potion of Character.
Young potion makers will embark on a series of hands-on laboratory investigations, from witnessing the fizzing reactions of Dragon’s Breath and exploring colour-changing wonders with Moonlight Magic to discovering the unusual properties of Monster Goo. Through these engaging experiments, children will explore cause and effect, develop creative thinking and problem-solving skills, and learn the value of curiosity, collaboration and perseverance. The experience will culminate in The King’s Potion Challenge, where children create and name their own imaginative potions, bringing their discoveries to life.
Moving beyond a conventional Halloween party, the experience reflects The King’s School’s approach to combining joyful childhood experiences with purposeful learning. Set within a creatively imagined potion laboratory, the afternoon promises a memorable blend of imagination, scientific exploration and discovery, allowing children to learn through play in an engaging environment.
