New Delhi : Leading tertiary healthcare Ujala Cygnus Group of Hospitals has appointed Gaurav Anand, a hospital management professional with over 18 years of experience, as its Chief Operating Officer (COO). Mr Anand will further strengthen the efforts of the company as it aims at providing the best healthcare facilities across the country.
Mr Anand brings with himself a rich experience of leading strategic and operational initiatives in established multinational companies. He has been instrumental in handling Branding, Hospital Launch Plan, Consultant Acquisition, Marketing Plan, Tie Ups & Associations. He is skillful in monitoring hospital processes and optimising operational efficiency. Over the span of his career, Mr Anand has worked in several capacities including senior management and leadership positions during which he has had an illustrious and eventful career.
Mr Anand started his career as a Management Trainee in Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai. He has a wide interest in healthcare wherein he has worked with Apollo Hospitals, Jaypee Hospital, Columbia Asia Hospitals, and international assignments in various capacities. He has been working independently in the consulting space for the last few years where he has offered his services to various clients on subjects ranging from setting up new facilities, project management, operational efficiency, and business augmentation among others.
At Ujala Cygnus Group of Hospitals, Mr Anand will be responsible for steering the company’s management operations with the help of technology at a time when the healthcare sector is witnessing an unprecedented growth and innovation due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
