Zack Snyder’s cut of Justic League as director gets ready to host ‘Man of Steel’ watch party

For the uninformed, Justice League was originally intended to be the third act of Zack’s larger, five-movie DC saga, however, Zack left the project in May 2017.

Twitterati on Tuesday began trending Zack Snyder’s Justice League demanding the release of the so-called “Snyder Cut” of 2017’s Justice League. It is clear that director Zack Snyder’s vision for the film didn’t align with that of Warner Bros, and that the tone and direction of the film were significantly changed once Zack was replaced by Joss Whedon. It has been speculated since then that Zack’s original cut of Justice League exists in some form, ready and waiting.

For the uninformed, Justice League was originally intended to be the third act of Zack’s larger, five-movie DC saga, however, Zack left the project in May 2017 in the wake of a family tragedy, with Warners turning to The Avengers director Joss. It is unclear if the Snyder Cut will ever release but fans sure seem excited for it to see the light of day.

Apart from this, Zack also is going to host a Watch Party for his Superman origin story, Man of Steel, which kicked off his excursion into the DC Universe on Wednesday, May 20. Several weeks ago Zack had also hosted an “intimate” screening of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice on his Vero account. It was a massive hit. The director essentially did a commentary track for his DC comic book superhero team-up.

At the time, Zack had also talked his way through the production, often showing off sketches that he had for major sequences, or describing the motivations of himself and screenwriter Chris Terrio. He had also teased about where the story was supposed to go in his Justice League.
