Countdown to Pujo Begins at LUSH, Renaissance Bengaluru Race Course

The countdown to Pujo has begun, and LUSH at Renaissance Bengaluru Race Course Hotel is bringing the first taste of the festive season to Bengaluru with a Bengali food festival this month.  The menu brings together a generous spread of Bengali favourites across vegetarian and non-vegetarian thalis.

The vegetarian spread begins with golden, crisp Veg Cutlet, smoky Begun Bhaja, comforting Aloo Bharta and tangy Tomato Chutney, followed by soft, pillowy Luchi and fragrant Cholar Dal. Aloo Posto, hearty Oler Tarkari, Labda and steamed rice round out the plate, creating a spread filled with the simple, soulful flavours of Bengali home cooking.

For those who prefer a non-vegetarian feast, the thali brings together crisp Fish Cutlet, rich and slow-cooked Kasha Mangso, flavourful Chingri Bharta and comforting Macher Jhol, alongside a hearty Bengali Chicken Curry, each dish layered with the kind of depth and warmth that only a Bengali spread can deliver. To finish, there is soft, syrupy Rasgulla,  a familiar sweet note to end the meal.

Pujo may still be a few weeks away, but clearly, the Bengali appetite doesn’t need a special day to begin the feasting. So, head to LUSH at Renaissance Bengaluru Race Course Hotel and get a first taste of Bengal before Pujo takes over the city.
