Noida International University organizing 8 Day Long Annual Art Exhibition to showcase Artwork of 72 students

Noida: Noida International University’s School of Fine Arts is organizing a 8 days long Annual Art Exhibition from 1st June to 8th June 2022 in the SFA Art Gallery, This Exhibition was inaugurated by Chief Guest Ms. Nivediat Mishra (Eminent artist and sculptor), Guest of Honour, Dr. Sumita Chauhan (Director, Gallery Onkaf, Delhi) and with the presence of  Honorable Pro-Vice Chancellor, Prof. (Dr.) Prasanjeet Kumar; OSD, Dr. PK Tomar,  on 1st June 2022. The Exhibition was visited by Honourable Chancellor, – Prof. (Dr.) Vikram Singh.

72 students of BFA, MFA, Ph. D. exhibited their artwork that were created in last one year. The exhibition has received a great response from visitors and parents of the students.

During the Exhibition students were encouraged to talk about their artworks which will help them to analyze, interpret and evaluate the form and content of works. This workshop helped students to perceive, interpret and judge their own artworks on a personal level which will gradually develop into the artist statements and the reviews of individual artworks or art exhibitions for the general public or for the specialized audience.

Former DGP of UP & Chancellor of NIU, Dr Vikram Singh said that the students have showcased best of their talent and skills and with their excellent work, and the students have justified the name of the exhibition Abhivyakti”. At the inaugural ceremony, Pro Vice Chancellor of NIU, Prof (Dr.) Prasanjeet Kumar applauded the students for their great work and creativity. OSD to Chairman- Dr PK Tomar encouraged students by saying that the artworks presented at the exhibition is of National Level.
