PFH German University Avail New Way of Teaching by Organizing “A Day at an Airfield with Flights” For Students

PFH German University organized a “day at the airfield with flights in a glider” for their students as a part of the “Agile Project Management” module. The professors of PFH Hamburg-Stade took international students (Indian, Italian, Iranian, Hollander, etc) to fly club to teach agile project management and industrial engineering. The aim of this event was to evaluate teamwork skills, effective communication, time management, capacity planning, independent tasks, and the smooth process of the project.

The students of Master Digitalization and Automation, Master Industrial Engineering, Master Lightweight Engineering & Composites, and Master New Mobility- Micromobilty courses were part of this event. The students recognized that, among other things, good efficient communication and appreciative management, that everyone “picks up” are essential for project success.

Vice Chancellor – Ms. Peggy said that “The Main Objective of this Workshop was to acquaint aspiring engineers with the conceptual and practical knowledge of Industrial Automation, Embedded Systems & Latest Technologies being used to achieve Automation”.

Professors and experts took scrum meetings during the flight day to adapt the project plan to reality when activities and resources were lacking.
