SIMS Hospitals set to offer free consultation for aesthetic assessment and facial pain treatment from the 12th to 15th of February

Chennai : The International Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons Day, celebrated on the 13th of February by The Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons of India (AOMSI) was observed at the SIMS Hospital in Vadapalani, Chennai. The day was celebrated at their Institute of Craniofacial, Aesthetic and Plastic Surgery department to initiate conversations around and celebrate this lesser-known surgical speciality. Commemorating the occasion, the facility is set to offer free aesthetic assessment and facial pain treatment from the 12th to 15th of February. SIMS also provides an additional 10% discount for procedures if prescribed by Doctors.

Hard and soft tissue injuries of the face, tumors of the mouth, jaws, and neck, oral cancer, and birth defects such as cleft lip and palate and other congenital facial deformities are all treated by maxillofacial surgeons. They also deal with facial aesthetics and cosmetic surgery. SIMS’ goal with this camp is to not only raise awareness about the problem but also to make a strong statement about the general public’s perception of enhancing one’s appearance in order to seem better and gain confidence.
